Elina Avanesyan Held a Masterclass and Meeting with Young Tennis Players in Tsaghkadzor
On September 6, a special meeting and masterclass for young athletes and children took place at the Tsaghkadzor Sports Complex, organized by the Keron Development Foundation and the Tennis Federation of Armenia. The main guest of the event was Elina Avanesyan, a promising and talented tennis player representing Armenian sports.
The event opened with welcoming remarks from Vanane Ararktsyan, Executive Director of the Keron Foundation, and Vardan Zakaryan, President of the Tennis Federation of Armenia, who emphasized the role of sports in shaping the younger generation and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Around 200 children and tennis fans from Yerevan, Vanadzor, and Gyumri took part in the masterclass. They warmly welcomed Elina and enthusiastically played tennis with her on the court.
During the meeting, the children also participated in a fun competition with prizes, asked Elina numerous questions, and received valuable advice and insights from her. The event concluded with children taking photos, getting autographs from Elina, and receiving small tennis-themed gifts.
Elina Avanesyan, who, with the support of the Keron Foundation, obtained Armenian citizenship in 2024 and now proudly represents Armenia in international tournaments, said:
“It is a great joy for me to return to Armenia and share my experience. I hope these meetings will inspire children to stay motivated and pursue their biggest goals.”
Sports is one of the strategic directions of the Keron Foundation, and through this initiative, the foundation aims not only to inspire young athletes but also to contribute to the development of Armenia’s sports life.
The main sponsor of Elina Avanesyan’s 2025 visit is Adidas, the official representative of the brand in Armenia.
