His music trespasses borders and generation and makes him an outstanding figure both in France and around the world. In Armenia Charles Aznavour is perceived not only as a world-famous artist, but a National Hero who supported his piers in the most difficult times and who remained the ambassador of the Armenian entity in the entire world.

Within the framework of the hundredth anniversary of the legendary artist, the Aznavour foundation has prepared a comprehensive program of celebrations that will take place in France, in Armenia and all over the world.

On May 22, in celebration of Aznavour’s 100th birthday, an open-air concert was held in the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden at Cascade.
