April 2024 – September 2024
One of the first projects of the Keron Development Foundation was a collaboration with the Museum of Russian Art. Launched in April 2024, the initiative aimed to enhance public awareness of the museum and spark greater interest in its exceptional collection.
Founded in 1980 and opened to the public in 1984, the Museum of Russian Art was the first in Yerevan to be established on the basis of a private collection — that of the esteemed doctor and professor Aram Abrahamyan (1898–1990). A distinguished physician and honorary citizen of Moscow, Professor Abrahamyan was a passionate art collector. His dedication to Russian art, particularly from the Silver Age, led him to amass a significant collection during a time when such works were not widely appreciated. His efforts have provided Armenia with a remarkable cultural treasure.

The museum showcases rare works by world-renowned figures of the Russian Silver Age — a period of cultural renaissance. It holds the largest collection outside of Russia representing 20th-century Russian artists, comprising over 300 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and pieces of decorative art.
In 2024, the museum celebrated both its 40th anniversary and the 125th anniversary of Professor Abrahamyan — making this partnership especially symbolic. To improve the museum’s visibility, the foundation initiated a complete redesign of its exterior signage, replacing six outdated advertising boards with vibrant new visuals.
As part of the partnership, the Keron Development Foundation also launched two public programs that enriched Yerevan’s cultural life and introduced new ways for the public to engage with the museum:

MUSICAL FRIDAYS
May – September 2024
Every Friday at 8 p.m., live performances of classical and contemporary music were held in front of the museum, creating a lively cultural atmosphere in the Cascade area.
A total of 14 concerts, featuring classical, jazz, pop, and rock music.

CREATIVE SATURDAYS
May – September 2024
Every Saturday at 11 a.m., open-air art workshops for children were held in front of the museum, aimed at nurturing a love of art and creative self-expression among the younger generation.
131 children were engaged in the program

In September 2024, the Museum of Russian Art held the closing evening of the Museum of Russian Art anniversary year. It took place in a warm and festive atmosphere, attended by distinguished guests, and included a presentation of special appreciation awards.
During the event, the Keron Development Foundation presented the museum with a surprise gift — the donation of the painting “Game with a Mirror” by Rudolf Khachatryan.
