Keron Development Foundation at the Opening Event of the Aram Khachaturian International Festival

On October 20, a private evening event was held at the Aram Khachaturian House-Museum ahead of the opening of the 13th International Aram Khachaturian Music Festival. The event was organized by the Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation.

During the evening, the festival program was presented, and special attention was given to the importance of collaboration between the private sector and culture as a key to developing cultural life and implementing long-term reforms.

Within this context, a panel discussion was held, featuring Vanane Ararktsyan, executive director of the Keron development foundation, who spoke about the foundation’s cooperation with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra under its flagship initiative – the Talent Pool program.

This collaboration aims to invite highly qualified foreign musicians and arts management professionals to Armenia and channel their expertise toward the development of the country’s music industry.

Thanks to the Talent Pool Program, four professional musicians and one artistic department manager have already relocated to Armenia. In addition to performing with the orchestra, they also teach at public music schools and conduct masterclasses for talented students, sharing their knowledge and experience.

With culture being one of its strategic directions, the Keron development foundation is thus making a significant contribution to improving the quality of music education and advancing the cultural sector in Armenia.
