Keron Development Foundation Celebrates Its First Anniversary

On April 4, the Keron Development Foundation marked its first anniversary by welcoming partners, guests, and supporters to the historical building located at 3 Abovyan street. For this special occasion, the foundation opened the doors of the culturally significant building, offering guests a unique opportunity to explore its early 20th-century architectural halls before its upcoming restoration begins.

Throughout the evening, the foundation presented its achievements from the past year, ongoing initiatives, and its flagship program—the Talent Pool. The project aims to create a community of professionals who choose Armenia as their home to live, work, and create. In her welcome speech, Executive Director Vanane Ararktsyan expressed gratitude to all partners and attendees who have supported and stood by the foundation throughout its first year.

“We are proud of our projects—the exhibition of the Goddess Anahit statue at the History Museum of Armenia, which has become the most-visited exhibition in the history of independent Armenia; our journey with Elina Avanesyan—now ranked 37th among the world’s top female tennis players; the renovation of the Yerevan State Medical University library; and other programs in our strategic fields: culture, education, healthcare, sports, and territorial development,” she noted.

Speaking about the Talent Pool program, Vanane added that over the past few months, 19 professionals from the US, France, Estonia, Ukraine, Spain, Argentina, and Russia have relocated to Armenia, bringing their experience and expertise to support the country’s development across various sectors.

During the event, the foundation officially announced the launch of the donations for the foundation. Now, anyone wishing to support Keron’s transformative initiatives can contribute, helping ensure the continuity and long-term success of its development programs for Armenia. Soon, the foundation and its two partner organizations will begin the restoration of the historic building at 3 Abovyan street. Once completed, it will be transformed into a unique center for culture, arts, fashion, and creativity.
