
Keron Development Foundation Participated in the Forum of Armenian Arts and Culture
The Forum of Armenian Arts and Culture, took place on November 20–21 at the Arno Babajanian Concert Hall in Yerevan, and was organized in collaboration with the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the International Coordinating Council of Armenian Culture and Arts. It offered a rich and diverse program. The two-day Forum provided participants with opportunities to engage in thematic discussions across various artistic fields as well as experience a wide array of cultural events, including arts and books exhibitions, fashion show, Armenian music and dance, culinary masterclasses.
On November 20, the opening day of the Forum of Armenian Arts and Culture, a series of thematic seminars and discussions were held under the theme “Cultural Dialogue Platform”, including Music Workshop and Discussion, which focused on fostering musical collaboration, presenting development opportunities within the field, and exploring ways to implement new artistic initiatives together.
Among the seminar speakers was Tatev Yeghiazaryan, a participant of the Keron Development Foundation’s flagship initiative, the Talent Pool program, and the Head of the Artistic Department and Artistic Program Coordinator of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
On November 21, during the second day of the Forum of Armenian Arts and Culture, a panel discussion was held on “Cultural Diplomacy as a Strategic Instrument of Soft Power.”
During the discussion, speakers explored the potential applications of cultural diplomacy tools, formats of cooperation between state and Diaspora institutions, as well as possible approaches for preserving, promoting, and internationally representing Armenian culture. The panel also addressed the existing challenges in the field of cultural diplomacy and propose effective solutions for overcoming them. In the list of the panel speakers were Vanane Ararktsyan, Executive Director of the Keron Development Foundation; sculptor and artist Mikayel Ohanjanyan; President of the Armenian–Polish Community Committee and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia Hrachya Boyajyan; President of the Union of Armenians of Romania Varujan Vosganian; and French-Armenian pianist, singer, and composer Macha Gharibian.
