Official Launch of “AOKS” Building Reconstruction
One of Yerevan’s unique architectural landmarks from the early 20th century, the “AOKS” building, is about to embark on a new chapter.
On November 8th, the keys to this historic building, located at 3 Abovyan Street, were officially handed over by representatives of the State Property Management Committee to the directors of the Keron Development Foundation, Z&A LLC, and Maison Marom LLC.
These three organizations were selected as winners of the lease competition announced by the State Property Management Committee in August of this year.
Representatives of the State Property Management Committee, including Head of Public Relations Araks Arakelyan and Head of the Department of Monitoring and Analysis Karen Galoyan, congratulated the organizations, handed over the keys, and wished them success in implementing the project.
The upcoming restoration and renovation works will involve licensed architects, builders, and leading industry experts to ensure the proper execution of the project. The project aims to preserve the historical and cultural value of the “AOKS” building while transforming it into a unique cultural and creative space that combines fine art and fashion.
The revitalized space will include exhibition halls showcasing the finest examples of global and Armenian art, a platform for luxury brand presentations, workshops, and a café.
