Guillermo Masiá Salom is a Spanish timpanist and percussionist currently based in Yerevan, Armenia. He holds advanced degrees from prestigious European institutions, including the Royal Conservatory of Madrid, MUSIKENE, and the Conservatorium Maastricht, where he studied under world-renowned professors such as Raymond Curfs (Sinfonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Lucerne Festival, Bayreuth Festival Orchestra) or Javier Azanza (Orchestre de Paris). Guillermo has performed with prominent orchestras including the Spanish National Orchestra (OCNE), Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, and Sinfonieorchester Aachen, collaborating with leading conductors like Teodor Currentzis, Christoph Eschenbach, David Afkham, Josep Pons or Alondra de la Parra. His early orchestral path includes significant roles in young orchestras such as JONDE, NJO, and GMJO. Combining technical mastery with international experience, Guillermo brings a powerful and refined presence to every stage he performs on.
