The Keron Development Foundation and the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema signed a memorandum of cooperation
On March 4, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Keron Development Foundation and Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema, within the framework of which young talented director Mher Zakaryan joined Keron foundation’s “Talent Pool” program.
He will collaborate with the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema, contributing to the development of the field through his experience. Within the framework of this cooperation, he will develop the teaching methodology of the directing department, ensure the operation of the correspondence directing program, and, as the artistic director of the Youth Theatre, organize innovative stage productions.
Mher has been involved in performances at a number of Moscow theaters and participated in master classes of numerous international workshops.
Sara Nalbandyan, Rector of Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema, highlighted the importance of signing the memorandum: “The Keron Foundation is one of the unique institutions in Armenia that is not implementing partial changes but aims to systematically transform the art sector, and the outcomes of the work are already apparent. Thanks to the Foundation, there are now specialists in Armenia who can bring tangible changes in various fields with their knowledge and experience. I am convinced that this cooperation will open up new opportunities and result in continuous development.”
The “Talent Pool” program is a key initiative of the Keron Development Foundation, the main goal of which is to attract highly qualified specialists from different countries of the world in the five strategic areas adopted by the Foundation – education, culture, sports, healthcare, and territorial development – to contribute to the development of Armenia. Speaking about the importance of the Talent Pool program, Vanane Ararktsyan, Executive Director of the Keron Development Foundation, noted: “The Talent Pool program aims to bring specialists with international experience to Armenia who are ready to invest their knowledge and expertise in the development of our country. We believe that such partnerships not only contribute to the development of the professional environment but also create long-term value.”
