Keron Development Foundation Participated in APRI Forum 2026

On September 23, in the framework of APRI Forum 2026, Vanane Ararktsyan, Executive Director of the Keron Development Foundation, participated in a panel discussion titled “Growing Our Talent, Trees, and Civic Space.”

Held in Yerevan, on September 23-25, APRI Forum 2026 is themed “Sketching the Architecture of Change” – a three-day conference that brings together representatives from the policy, business, and civil society sectors in order to discuss the way forward for Armenia in key areas of development.

The panel discussion held within the framework of the forum focused on long-term development components the results of which are not always immediately visible, yet they shape the country’s future such as human capital development, the creation of quality educational and public environments, the strengthening of communities, and the development of urban infrastructure.

Vanane Ararktsyan presented Keron’s experience and approaches, addressing the combination of international expertise and local potential within the Talent Pool program, the project to transform the Yerevan State Medical University library into a modern educational center, as well as the development of the culture of dialogue, cooperation, and community ties in Armenia through VERNATOUN.

One of the key topics of the discussion was the type of environment Armenia needs to create so that talented people not only get improved here but also choose to live, work, create, and tie their future activities to Armenia.

Katerina Danekina, CEO of Green Rock, and Aram Salatyan, Chairman of the Board of the Engineering Association, also participated in the panel discussion.

The discussion was moderated by Seda Arzumanyan, Vice President of Donor Relations at APRI Armenia.
