John Blondell (PhD), a participant in the “Talent Pool” project, serves as a stage director at the G. Sundukyan National Academic Theater through a partnership with the Keron Development Foundation. As the co-founder and artistic director of the Lit Moon Theater Company and the Verona Shakespeare Fringe Festival, he has directed more than 110 performances that have been loved by audiences in the United States, Europe, and Asia. His repertoire includes renowned works such as Hamlet, Richard III, King Lear, Uncle Vanya, Alice in Wonderland, Peer Gynt, The Cherry Orchard, and Eurydice, the pinnacle of his collaboration with the Yerevan Mother Theater. Blondell’s theatrical works are grounded in dramaturgical and stage experiments with the classics, emphasizing minimalism and simplicity as central elements of his work.
