Duration:

August 2025 – June 2026

The AybPRO project-based learning program is an innovative educational model based on the “learning by doing” principle. It simultaneously fosters students’ skill development and deepens their subject knowledge. First introduced at Ayb School in 2015, the program has been successfully implemented in Yerevan for several years. Now, with the initiative of the Keron Development Foundation, it will launch at Dilijan’s only high school as a pilot educational project in the regions, offering students the opportunity to gain both academic knowledge and essential personal and collaborative skills.

While implementing the projects, students will develop key competencies such as teamwork, business thinking, responsibility, task planning and delegation, time management, communication, and initiative.

This model prepares students to face 21st-century challenges by equipping them with critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills. It also fosters independence by encouraging students to take responsibility for their learning and decision-making.

The program will run for 12 months, including preparatory and evaluation phases. As part of the initiative, three project-based clubs will be established at Dilijan High School, each with 8–15 students. Supported by club mentors, students will generate ideas to address challenges in the Dilijan community, develop projects, and bring them to life.

If successful, the program is expected to expand to other schools across Armenia.

The local partner of the program in Dilijan is the Green Rock Foundation, which serves as the CSR arm of Green Rock, leading projects in education, culture, and ecology through meaningful investments and strategic partnerships. The foundation supports the implementation of this educational program with the goal of fostering the educational, social, and economic development of the community.
